Getting in touch with the power that drives the Universe...
This is a picture of a Japanese Shinkansen, or bullet train. These trains run most of the length of Japan and can travel at about 225 miles per hour. Their ride is very smooth, even more so than a conventional train traveling at slower speeds. The Japanese pursue the latest technologies, but never forget their cultural roots, such as the art form of Kanji. While most people are not proficient in writing Kanji calligraphy, they highly value this artform as a connection to the past, and how it defines them as a people.
